Erica Chao's musical journey began at age four, when her fingers first touched the piano keys. That early spark led her to National Taiwan Normal University, where she earned a B.F.A. in Music Performance and deepened her love for the art of sound.

 

She began her professional career in the bustling studios of Taipei as an in-house composer and producer, creating soundscapes for television, animation, theatre, and commercials. There she honed her ability to tell stories through music, leveraging modern production processes and technologies, which earned her a nomination for Best Original Song at the Golden Bell Awards.

 

Since relocating to Dallas, Erica's work has seamlessly bridged classical elegance and modern production. She operates a private recording and teaching studio, specializing in capturing grand piano and solo ensemble performances. Under her personal brand, eMuse Music, she produces Christian albums and original compositions, all available on major streaming platforms.

 

Today, Erica moves fluidly between roles as a producer, composer, pianist, and educator. Whether behind the mixing console or at a Steinway, her goal remains the same: to create music that resonates.
